The UVCE campus extends across approximately 8 acres at K.R. Circle in central Bengaluru — historic, compact and very well-located in the city's administrative core. The institute building dates to 1917 and combines heritage British-era architecture with modern academic blocks. Branch-specific labs include VLSI and Embedded Systems, AI-ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Power Electronics, Robotics, Mechanical CAD-CAM, Civil CAD-CAM, Structural Dynamics, Mining and Architecture studios. The central library holds 1,20,000+ volumes with IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, ASME, ASCE and Scopus subscriptions and is one of the historic engineering libraries of South India. Sports facilities are limited given the central campus footprint — basketball court, indoor badminton, table tennis and gymnasium are on campus, while outdoor sports use Bangalore University's nearby Jnanabharathi campus grounds. Transport: BMTC connectivity is excellent — multiple routes serve K.R. Circle, and the Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha and Majestic metro stations are walking/short-bus distance. Wi-Fi and 24×7 power backup are standard.
