NIT Warangal consistently ranks among the top 21 in NIRF Engineering. Research spans every major engineering and applied science discipline. The institute hosts the Centre for Excellence in Sustainable Manufacturing, Centre for Materials Engineering, NITW Innovation and Incubation Centre, Centre for Renewable Energy and many discipline-specific centres. The institute files 50+ patents annually with publications in IEEE Transactions, ACM, Springer, Elsevier and ACS venues.
