Admissions at NIT Mizoram 2026

NIT Mizoram accepts admissions exclusively through JEE Main → JoSAA counselling. Programs: BTech CSE, BTech ECE, BTech Electrical Engineering, BTech Mechanical Engineering, BTech Civil Engineering. JoSAA closing ranks for 2024: BTech CSE closed at AIR 30,000 General (HS — Mizoram domicile), AIR 24,000 General (OS); BTech ECE closed at AIR 50,000 General (HS) / AIR 38,000 General (OS); BTech EE AIR 60,000 General (OS); BTech Mechanical AIR 95,000 General (OS); BTech Civil AIR 1,15,000 General (OS). EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST closing ranks expand by roughly 1.4x, 1.6x, 4.5x and 7x respectively. Counselling proceeds through 6 JoSAA rounds + CSAB. Total fee: INR 3.45 lakh/year approximately. SC/ST and below INR 5L family income students get full tuition waiver under the central scholarship scheme.
