NIT Andhra Pradesh accepts admissions exclusively through JEE Main → JoSAA counselling. Programs: BTech CSE, BTech ECE, BTech Electrical Engineering, BTech Mechanical Engineering, BTech Civil Engineering, BTech Chemical Engineering, BTech Bio-Tech, BTech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. JoSAA closing ranks for 2024: BTech CSE closed at AIR 16,000 General (HS — AP domicile), AIR 12,000 General (OS); BTech ECE AIR 26,000 General (HS) / AIR 21,000 General (OS); BTech EE AIR 32,000 General (OS); BTech Mechanical AIR 50,000 General (OS); BTech Civil AIR 65,000 General (OS). EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST closing ranks expand by ~1.4x, 1.6x, 4.5x and 7x respectively. Counselling proceeds through 6 JoSAA rounds + CSAB. Total fee: INR 3.50 lakh/year approximately. SC/ST and below INR 5L family income students get full tuition waiver.
