Hostel at MSRIT 2026 — CollegeAndFees

MSRIT operates separate hostels for boys and girls on and adjacent to the MSR Nagar campus in north Bengaluru. First-year students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms; double and single occupancy come up by seniority. Annual hostel and mess charges for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹95,000-1,30,000 range, with AC rooms priced higher and reservations subject to availability. Mess offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters with North Indian, South Indian and limited Continental options; Sunday and festival specials are common. Each block has Wi-Fi, geysers, common rooms, study lounges and CCTV-monitored entries. Curfew is generally 9:30 pm for first-years and 10:30 pm for seniors, and weekend leave needs warden approval plus a confirmed parent call. Students should bring their own mattress, two bedsheets, pillow, blanket, padlock, steel mug and bucket. PG options on Mathikere, Yeshwantpur and MS Ramaiah Nagar provide a strong off-campus fallback at ₹8,000-14,000 per month with food.
