Jamia Millia Islamia consistently ranks among the top 25 in NIRF Engineering and is one of India's central universities. Research spans every major engineering and applied science discipline. The institute hosts the Centre for Nano Science and Nanotechnology, Centre for Coordination Chemistry, Multidisciplinary Centre for Advanced Research and Studies (MCARS), Centre for Computer Application and Education and many discipline-specific centres.
