IIT Ropar admits B.Tech students through JEE Advanced + JoSAA counselling. Typical 2024 closing ranks under General Merit Open category: CSE 1700-2700, EE 4500-6500, ECE 5000-7500, Mechanical 7000-9500, Chemical 9500-12500, Civil 11000-14500, Materials Science 11000-15000, Engineering Physics 9500-13000, Mathematics & Computing 5000-7000. Round-by-round closing ranks in JoSAA six rounds plus CSAB two supplementary rounds determine final allocation. Carry to admission: 10th and 12th marksheets, JEE Advanced score card, JoSAA seat allotment letter, transfer/migration certificate, conduct certificate, Aadhaar, six passport photos. The first-year fee is around ₹2,50,000 with full waivers for SC/ST/PwD. NRI and foreign-national admissions go through DASA.
