IEM Kolkata offers a Merit Scholarship that waives 25-100% of tuition for top JEE Main / WBJEE scorers — WBJEE top 200 ranks get 100% tuition waiver; ranks 201-1000 get 75%; ranks 1001-3000 get 50%; ranks 3001-7000 get 25%. JEE Main top 5,000 AIR get 50% tuition waiver. The IEM Founders Scholarship (named after Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, founder) supports 30 students annually with 50-100% tuition waiver based on financial need (family income under INR 4 lakh) plus academic merit (12th >85%). West Bengal State Government Post-Matric Scholarship is available for SC/ST/OBC students through the West Bengal scholarship portal — covering INR 30,000-1.5 lakh annually. The Bengal Aikyashree Scholarship supports OBC and minority students. Female BTech students with family income under INR 8 lakh receive AICTE Pragati Scholarship (INR 50,000/year). Sports excellence scholarship covers INR 25,000-50,000/year.
