COEP Pune students benefit from the institute Maharashtra state-government subsidy with low fees. SC/ST students receive Central Government Post-matric Scholarship covering hostel and mess. Students from families with annual income below ₹1 lakh receive 100% tuition remission. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted. KVPY and INSPIRE fellows continue receiving fellowships. Maharashtra state-domicile students access state schemes — Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Pratipurti Yojana (fee waiver), Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasti Yojana (hostel maintenance) and Maharashtra Backward Class Welfare schemes. The COEP Foundation runs additional alumni-funded need-based scholarships including the COEP Founder Memorial Scholarship.
