COEP Pune admits B.Tech students through MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) and JEE Main. Typical 2024 MHT-CET cutoffs (out of 200) for COEP under General Merit: CSE 99.5+ percentile, EE 99.0+ percentile, Mechanical 98.5+ percentile, Civil 98.0+ percentile, Chemical 98.0+ percentile. JEE Main candidates apply with score and academic record (~85% Maharashtra state quota seats). Carry to admission: 10th and 12th marksheets, MHT-CET/JEE Main score card, transfer/migration certificate, conduct certificate, Aadhaar, six passport photos and Maharashtra domicile certificate for state-quota seats. The first-year fee is heavily subsidised at ~₹85,000-1,25,000/year given Maharashtra state-government subsidy.
