Chitkara University runs an extensive on-campus hostel system on its 150-acre Punjab campus near Chandigarh. First-year B.Tech students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and single occupancy from the second year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹1,30,000-1,80,000 range inclusive of mess. Mess service includes vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain and Continental options serving North Indian, Punjabi, South Indian and Continental rotations. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges and CCTV are standard.

Chitkara runs a structured merit-and-need scholarship programme. Top CUET-Chitkara rankers receive 25-100% tuition concessions. JEE Main top performers receive similar concessions.
