Ask Counsellor
BMSCE occupies an 11.75-acre campus in Basavanagudi in central south Bengaluru — compact but very well-located, with Bull Temple Road and the Lalbagh-Jayanagar corridor at walking distance. Branch-specific labs include VLSI and Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, RF and Microwave, Robotics, Mechanical CAD-CAM, Cyber Security, AI-ML, Data Science, Industrial IoT and Renewable Energy. The central library holds 1,30,000+ volumes with IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, ASME, ASCE and Scopus subscriptions. Sports facilities include a basketball court, indoor badminton hall, table-tennis room, gymnasium and limited outdoor sports given the compact campus footprint — outdoor cricket and football activities use nearby grounds. Transport: BMTC bus connectivity is excellent — multiple routes serve Basavanagudi, and the Banashankari and Jayanagar metro stations are short bus rides away. The institute health centre has a resident physician and tie-ups with Apollo and Manipal hospitals. Wi-Fi covers academic blocks; 24×7 power backup is standard.
