Application steps

  1. 1BE merit/general: appear for KCET (KEA) or COMEDK UGET; participate in respective counselling; receive seat allotment letter at BIT (CET Code E008 / COMEDK E019).
  2. 2BE management quota: download the BE application form (BE.pdf), submit to BIT/RVS with required documents and DD in favour of 'PRINCIPAL BIT'.
  3. 3Online registration via Google Form linked on /admission-be is available alongside the paper form.
  4. 4Carry original mark cards (10th, 12th, +2), Transfer & Study Certificate, Migration (non-Karnataka), Aadhaar, 3 passport-size photos (and 6 sets of photocopies); CET/COMEDK allotment letter; caste/income certificate if applicable; notarised undertaking on Rs 100 bond paper.
  5. 5Pay fees through debit/credit card, bank transfer, UPI, or third-party gateway; payments are non-refundable.
  6. 6PG (MBA/MCA/M.Tech): clear required entrance (PGCET/KMAT/MAT/CMAT/GATE), download PG form and submit to BIT with documents and DD.

  • Qualifying: Pass two years PUC / 12th from Karnataka PU Board or equivalent recognised by VTU; minimum 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics (compulsory) along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics (optional).
