Hostel at SSN 2026 — CollegeAndFees

SSN runs separate boys and girls hostels on the Kalavakkam OMR campus near Chennai. First-year B.E. students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and limited single occupancy by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 typically run ₹95,000-1,30,000 inclusive of mess. Mess service includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters with North Indian, South Indian (Tamil cuisine) and limited Continental rotations. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges and CCTV are standard. Curfew is typically 9:30 PM with weekend leave requiring written parental confirmation. Bring your own bedding, padlock, bucket and toiletries. Off-campus PG fallbacks at Kalavakkam, Sholinganallur and OMR corridor are available at ₹8,000-13,000 per month with food.
