- 1PES University is a Deemed-to-be University. 40% of seats (e.g. 288 out of 720 CSE seats) are filled via KCET. The remaining 60% (432 seats) are filled through PESSAT, JEE Main, or direct management quota. Here is the step-by-step admission process:
- 2Step 1 — Check Eligibility: Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories). KCET rankers apply through KEA counselling. For the college-controlled (non-KCET) seats, no KCET rank is required.
- 3Step 2 — Apply via PESSAT or JEE Main: Register for PESSAT (PES Scholastic Aptitude Test) at pes.edu, or apply using your JEE Main score. PESSAT registration typically opens January–February. Students from all states can apply.
- 4Step 4 — Document Submission: Submit: 10th marks card, 12th marks card, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, 4 passport photos, Aadhar card, caste certificate (if applicable), and PESSAT/JEE Main scorecard.
- 5Step 5 — Fee Payment and Confirmation: Once allotted, fee payment must be completed within 48 hours. Fee structure is published at pes.edu — verify current year figures from the official source. Official receipts are issued for all payments.
