NIT Meghalaya admits B.Tech students through JEE Main + JoSAA counselling. Typical 2024 closing ranks under General Merit Open category: CSE 7000-10000, EE 14000-18000, ECE 12500-16500, Mechanical 16500-21000, Civil 19000-24000, Engineering Physics 13000-17000. Northeast region quota for SC/ST/Northeastern states students typically have lower closing ranks. Round-by-round closing ranks in JoSAA six rounds plus CSAB two supplementary rounds determine final allocation. The first-year fee is around ₹1,50,000 with full waivers for SC/ST/PwD.
