NIE Mysore admits B.E. seats predominantly through KCET (~70% government quota given government-aided status) with limited COMEDK and management quota seats. KCET 2024 General Merit closing ranks were approximately CSE 4500-7500, ECE 9000-13000, ISE 7500-11000, EEE 14000-19000, Mechanical 17000-23000, Civil 22000-28000. Carry to verification: 10th and 12th marksheets, transfer certificate, conduct certificate, KEA allotment slip, COMEDK rank card if applicable, Aadhaar, six passport photos and 371-J domicile certificate for Hyderabad-Karnataka quota students. The first-year fee is heavily subsidised given government-aided status. NRI and foreign-national admissions follow VTU separate seat allocation process.
