MIT WPU Pune offers a structured Merit Scholarship that waives 25-100% of tuition for top JEE Main / MHT-CET scorers — top 100 MHT-CET state ranks get 100% tuition waiver; ranks 101-500 get 75%; ranks 501-2000 get 50%; ranks 2001-5000 get 25%. JEE Main top 1000 AIR get 75% tuition waiver. The MIT WPU Founders Scholarship (named after Dr. Vishwanath Karad) supports 100 students annually with 50-100% tuition waiver based on financial need (family income under INR 4 lakh) plus academic merit (12th >85%). Maharashtra State Government Post-Matric Scholarship is available for SC/ST/OBC students through MahaDBT — covering INR 30,000-1.5 lakh annually depending on category. The EBC scheme of Government of Maharashtra waives 50% tuition for students with family income under INR 8 lakh.
