IIT Jodhpur alumni — given the institute's relatively young age (established 2008) — include senior product, engineering, research and entrepreneurship professionals across Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Adobe, Walmart Global Tech and many Indian deep-tech and SaaS startups. Many alumni have proceeded to PhD programmes at MIT, Stanford, CMU, ETH Zurich, Cambridge, Oxford and Tokyo Tech given IIT Jodhpur's research-strong culture and unique programmes in Smart Healthcare. The IIT Jodhpur Alumni Association runs growing chapters in Jodhpur-Jaipur, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, the Bay Area, Boston and Singapore, with annual reunions and the IIT Jodhpur Foundation supporting scholarships, research initiatives and the IIT Jodhpur Innovation and Incubation Centre. The Smart Healthcare programme has produced researchers and founders in healthcare-tech and biotech startups particularly in Hyderabad's Genome Valley and Bengaluru's healthcare cluster.
