IIT Jammu 400-acre Jagti campus is among India newer second-generation IIT campuses. Branch-specific facilities span Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and several specialist centres including the Centre for Renewable Energy, Centre for Cyber Security, Centre for Sustainable Engineering and Innovation Centre.
