The IIIT Bangalore campus extends across approximately 8 acres at Electronics City Phase 1 in south Bengaluru — compact but world-class. Branch-specific labs include AI-ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Networks and Communications, VLSI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Theoretical Computer Science and Machine Learning Theory. The institute hosts the eHealth Research Centre, the Centre for Open Source Software and Software Engineering Research Laboratory, the Networking and Communications Research Centre, and Centre for Information Technology and Public Policy. The library holds extensive IEEE, Springer, ACM, Elsevier and Scopus subscriptions. Sports facilities include indoor badminton, table tennis, gymnasium and limited outdoor sports given the Electronics City campus footprint. Transport: BMTC city buses on Electronics City Phase 1, Hosur Road and Outer Ring Road serve the campus extensively. The Hosur Road metro station extension provides feeder access. The campus health centre has a resident physician and tie-ups with Manipal Hospital Whitefield. Wi-Fi and 24×7 power backup are standard.
