Admissions at IIIT-B 2026 — CollegeAndFees

IIIT Bangalore admits iMTech (4-year integrated CSE) students through JEE Main score with a separate IIIT-B counselling — typical closing ranks under General Merit fall in the JEE Main 99.5 percentile band, equivalent to AIR ranges depending on the year. KCET and COMEDK are NOT used for iMTech admissions. The institute also admits 2-year M.Tech students through GATE, M.S. (Research) and PhD students through institute-administered tests, and separate iMTech specialisations through dedicated entrance processes. Carry to admission verification: 10th and 12th marksheets, JEE Main score card, school transfer certificate, conduct certificate, Aadhaar, six passport photos and a written statement of academic interests. Application is online via iiitb.ac.in. The first-year fee is paid by NEFT or DD within seven days of seat confirmation. Foreign-national admissions go through the international admissions office with separate seat counts and fee structure.
