Research at GNDEC 2026 — CollegeAndFees

GNDEC Bidar drives research across IoT, smart cities, AI/ML, sustainable energy, automotive engineering and structural engineering. The institute houses the Centre for IoT and Cyber-Physical Systems, the Centre for Sustainable Mobility (KPIT and Bosch collaboration) and the Centre for Cyber Security. Faculty publish 80-100 SCI/Scopus papers annually with research grants from DST, AICTE, MEITY, KSCST, plus North Karnataka state grants totaling INR 4-6 crore. The institute has filed 20+ patents. Active partnerships: Microsoft Research India, IBM, KPIT, Bosch, Tata Consultancy Services, ISRO, plus North Karnataka industrial partnerships. Operates 2 international research collaborations (NTU Singapore, IISc Bangalore).
