Infrastructure

Infrastructure

Garden City University spans about 195 acres across three Bengaluru campuses — the Indiranagar city office, the K.R. Puram (Old Madras Road) main academic campus, and the 178-acre GCU Knowledge Park at Hoskote. The central library holds around 35,062 books (4,550 titles), 140 reader seats and 29 computers, runs OPAC/RFID circulation and subscribes to EBSCO Academic Search Elite and DELNET alongside national consortia such as e-ShodhSindhu, Shodhganga, NDL and SWAYAM. Specialised labs include the Samsung SEED AI/ML linguistics lab, a Census Resource Lab, a Forensic Laboratory, a Language Laboratory and a Media Laboratory, with video-conferencing-enabled smart classrooms and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Sports facilities cover a futsal synthetic ground, badminton, basketball, football and cricket grounds plus separate gyms. Campus support includes a 24x7 ambulance and doctor-on-call, the GCU Physiocare unit, on-campus banks and ATMs (Canara Bank, Federal Bank), a mall-styled multi-cuisine food court, the Kaffe Gardenia café and a 24x7 help desk. Sustainability measures span rainwater harvesting, solar and wind power, a single-use-plastic ban and dense afforestation at Hoskote.
