Karnataka domicile students at CMRIT can avail Post-matric SC/ST scholarships, Vidyasiri (OBC, Category-I), EBC scholarship and Karnataka E-Pass tuition support — these typically fully waive KEA tuition for eligible families. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme and Sainik Welfare Board concessions. Sports admits at state, national or international level receive separate fee waivers. Institutional scholarships from the CMR Group cover top KCET, COMEDK and JEE rankers, with need-based concessions reviewed each semester. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted on application. The CMR Group runs additional fee concessions for siblings and alumni-children. Corporate scholarships from Aditya Birla, Reliance Foundation, KC Mahindra and Tata Trusts can be applied externally with CMRIT bonafide.
