CMR University runs an extensive on-campus hostel system with separate boys and girls accommodations on the Bagaluru-Lakeside campus. First-year students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and single occupancy from the second year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 broadly fall in the ₹1,30,000-1,80,000 range inclusive of mess, with AC blocks priced higher. Mess service includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters with North Indian, South Indian and Continental rotations. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges, washing machines and CCTV-monitored entries are standard. Curfew is typically 9:30 pm with weekend leave requiring written parental confirmation. Bring your own mattress, two bedsheets, pillow, blanket, padlock, steel mug and bucket. Given the relatively remote north-Bengaluru location, most students prefer on-campus hostels.
