VNIT Nagpur alumni include senior leaders at Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, McKinsey, Tata Group, Reliance, ONGC, Coal India, BHEL, NTPC and many Indian and global corporations. The institute heritage as Regional Engineering College Nagpur (1960) gives it 65+ years of alumni — among the deepest engineering alumni networks in central India. Many VNIT alumni have served as senior IES, IRSME officers and in state and central government technical positions. The VNIT Alumni Association runs strong chapters in Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, the Bay Area, Boston, New York, London, Singapore and Dubai with annual reunions.
