VNIT Nagpur admits B.Tech students through JEE Main + JoSAA counselling. Typical 2024 closing ranks under General Merit Open category: CSE 1500-2500, EE 7000-10000, ECE 6500-9500, Mechanical 11000-15000, Chemical 14500-19000, Civil 14500-19000, Metallurgical 18000-23000, Mining 22000-28000, Architecture 8500-12000. Maharashtra state quota (50% under Other-State / Home-State scheme) typically has lower closing ranks. Round-by-round closing ranks in JoSAA six rounds plus CSAB two supplementary rounds determine final allocation. Carry to admission: 10th and 12th marksheets, JEE Main score card, JoSAA seat allotment letter, transfer/migration certificate, conduct certificate, Aadhaar, six passport photos. The first-year fee is around ₹1,50,000 with full waivers for SC/ST/PwD.
