Why Choose RVCE?
RVCE consistently ranks among India's top private engineering colleges — #82 NIRF 2024, #1 Private Engineering College by IIRF 2025, and NAAC A++ accredited. Autonomous status under VTU means the curriculum is updated faster than affiliated colleges, keeping it aligned with industry demands. Placement outcomes set RVCE apart from most Bangalore colleges. With a highest package of ₹67 LPA and an average of ~₹15 LPA, RVCE attracts top-tier recruiters like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and JP Morgan — companies that visit very few Karnataka colleges. Located on Mysore Road in the heart of Bangalore's tech corridor, RVCE gives students direct access to India's largest startup and IT ecosystem. Many students secure internships and PPOs from nearby companies. RVCE's alumni network is one of the strongest in South India, with leaders in ISRO, HAL, tech startups, and international organisations. This network actively mentors current students and provides career opportunities. The college has a strong R&D and innovation culture — from building India's first student satellite (StudSat) to consistent Formula SAE participation. This hands-on approach to engineering education is rare among Bangalore colleges.

Admission to RVCE — How it Works
RVCE offers admission through four routes for its undergraduate B.E. programmes: KCET Quota (45% of seats — 81 seats in CSE): Karnataka students who appear in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) are eligible. RVCE is one of the most competitive KCET colleges in Bangalore. Seat allotment is handled by KEA (kea.kar.nic.in). Candidates must report for document verification within the stipulated dates after allotment. COMEDK Quota (30% of seats — 54 seats in CSE): RVCE accepts COMEDK UGET scores, open to students from all states across India. The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts an online entrance test each year. Applications open at comedk.org, typically in March–April. Management Quota (25% of seats — 45 seats in CSE): RVCE fills management quota seats through merit-based selection — no capitation or donation fees are charged. Eligibility: minimum 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2. Candidates contact the RVCE Admissions Office directly, submit documents (10th & 12th mark sheets, TC, government-issued ID, 4 passport photos), and are shortlisted purely on academic merit. Fee payment is required within 48 hours of seat allotment. SNQ — Supernumerary Quota (9 additional seats in CSE): Reserved for economically weaker Karnataka students. Seats are over and above the main 180-seat intake. Foreign / International Quota (27 additional seats in CSE — AICTE approved 15% supernumerary): For Foreign Nationals, PIOs, OCI card holders, and children of Indian workers in Gulf countries. Contact RVCE's International Division for eligibility and fee structure. Important: RVCE is a private engineering institution. Always verify all details directly with the college. Do not pay any agent claiming guaranteed management quota seats.
