NSUT students benefit from the institute Delhi government-university status with subsidised fees. SC/ST students receive Central Government Post-matric Scholarship covering hostel and mess. Students from families with annual income below ₹1 lakh receive 100% tuition remission. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted on application. KVPY and INSPIRE fellows continue receiving fellowships. Delhi state government schemes — Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana, Delhi Higher Education Scholarship — are widely accepted for Delhi-domicile students. The NSUT Foundation runs additional alumni-funded need-based scholarships.
