NSUT runs separate boys and girls hostels on the Dwarka campus. First-year B.Tech students typically get triple-occupancy rooms with double rooms from the second year and single rooms from the third year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 are heavily subsidised at ~₹50,000-80,000 inclusive of mess given Delhi government-university status. Mess service includes vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options across hostels with student-elected mess secretaries; menus combine North Indian, Punjabi, South Indian and Continental rotations. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges and CCTV are standard. The Delhi winter is cold (5-12°C December-February) with smog conditions; warmer bedding and N95 masks recommended.
