NIT Uttarakhand alumni network spans roughly 2,500 graduates. Notable alumni concentrate in IT services, central PSUs (NHPC, ONGC, BHEL given hill-state connection), and Uttarakhand governance. Alumni chapters: Dehradun, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, NCR, Mumbai, Singapore, Bay Area and London. The Founders Club connects 6+ NIT-UK alumni founders. Annual Alumni Meet brings 200+ alumni back to campus every December. The Alumni Mentorship Program pairs final-year students with industry-experienced alumni — currently active for 80+ student-alumni pairs. The institute has placed alumni at FAANG, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Bay Area startups since 2017.
