Research at LPU spans every major engineering, science, biotech, agriculture and management discipline. The institute hosts the LPU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, Centre for Renewable Energy, Centre for Cyber Security, Centre for Robotics, Centre for Agricultural Engineering and many discipline-specific centres. The institute files 80+ patents annually with publications in IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier and ACS venues. Major funding from DST, AICTE, MeitY, DBT, ISRO, DRDO, ICAR, Punjab State Council and several international agencies. Industry partnerships span Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Robert Bosch, Texas Instruments, Tata Group, Reliance, Cisco, Intel and many deep-tech startups. International collaborations span universities in the US, UK, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Japan and several other countries.
