Karnataka domicile students at KSIT can avail Post-matric SC/ST scholarships, Vidyasiri (OBC, Category-I), EBC scholarship and Karnataka E-Pass tuition support — typically waiving most KEA tuition for eligible families. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme and Sainik Welfare Board concessions. Sports admits at state, national or international level receive separate fee waivers. Institutional scholarships from the Kammavari Sangham (the Trust running KSIT) cover top KCET and COMEDK rankers, with need-based concessions reviewed each semester. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted on application.
