IIT Bhubaneswar admits B.Tech students through JEE Advanced + JoSAA counselling. Typical 2024 closing ranks under General Merit Open category: CSE 2400-3700, EE 6500-9000, ECE 7000-10000, Mechanical 9500-13000, Chemical 12500-16500, Civil 13500-18000, Metallurgy 16000-21000, Materials Science 12000-16000, Engineering Physics 10000-14000. Round-by-round closing ranks in JoSAA six rounds plus CSAB two supplementary rounds determine final allocation. Carry to admission: 10th and 12th marksheets, JEE Advanced score card, JoSAA seat allotment letter, transfer/migration certificate, conduct certificate, Aadhaar, six passport photos. The first-year fee is around ₹2,50,000 with full waivers for SC/ST/PwD. NRI and foreign-national admissions go through DASA.
