Scholarships at BITS Hyd 2026

BITS Pilani Hyderabad runs the same merit-and-need scholarship programme as Pilani campus. The BITSAT Merit Scholarship covers 25-100% of tuition for top BITSAT rankers — Round 1 admits with high BITSAT scores typically receive substantial concessions. The Merit-cum-Need scholarship covers up to 80% of tuition for top performers from low-income families. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme. SC/ST students receive Central Government Post-matric Scholarship support. Sports admits at state, national or international level receive separate fee waivers. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted. The BITS Pilani Foundation's alumni-funded need-based scholarships extend across all three campuses. International undergraduate students from select developing nations qualify for ICCR scholarships. Education loans through SBI, Canara Bank, HDFC Credila, Axis Bank, Avanse Financial, Auxilo and BITSian Foundation loan support are facilitated by the campus's financial-aid office.
