Research at Alliance College of Engineering & Design 2026

Research at Alliance University spans AI-ML and Data Science, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Cyber Security, Industrial Design, Robotics, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, Civil Infrastructure and Smart Cities. The university hosts dedicated research centres for AI, Cyber Security, Sustainable Engineering and Smart Cities. Funded projects come from DST, AICTE RPS, MeitY, DRDO, ISRO RESPOND and the Karnataka State Science and Technology Council. Faculty publish in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier and Scopus-indexed journals with steady year-on-year output. Patents include themes around energy-efficient VLSI, edge AI for healthcare, agritech sensors, sustainable design and intelligent transportation. Industry-academia partnerships include Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, AWS, Bosch, Wipro, Siemens, Ansys and select aerospace and design firms. International MoUs with universities in the US, the UK, Germany, Australia and Singapore support student exchange and joint research.
