VIT Pune engineering alumni network spans 50,000+ graduates across all batches since the institute opened in 1983. Notable alumni include Rajan Anandan (former MD, Google Southeast Asia + India; current Sequoia Capital partner), Vikas Pandey (Senior Director, Microsoft India), Manish Bhatia (Senior Vice President, Operations, Micron Technology), Sandeep Naik (Senior Director, Apollo Tyres), Anand Deshpande (founder, Persistent Systems — connected through Pune ecosystem), Anil Bhalla (CEO, Acme Tele Power), and several senior leaders at Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, Amazon, Mahindra Group and Bajaj Group.
