Karnataka domicile students at SIT Tumkur can avail Post-matric SC/ST scholarships, Vidyasiri (OBC, Category-I), EBC scholarship and Karnataka E-Pass tuition support. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme and Sainik Welfare Board concessions. Sports admits at state, national or international level receive separate fee waivers. Institutional scholarships from Sree Siddaganga Mutt (the religious-cum-educational trust running SIT) cover top KCET and COMEDK rankers, with substantial need-based concessions reviewed each semester. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted. Corporate scholarships from Aditya Birla, Reliance Foundation, KC Mahindra and Tata Trusts can be applied externally. Education loan tie-ups with SBI and Canara Bank are facilitated by the financial-aid cell.
