Research at REVA University covers AI-ML and Data Science, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Cyber Security, Robotics, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Smart Cities. The university hosts dedicated research centres for Cyber Security, AI for Sustainable Development, Aerospace Studies and Smart Cities. Funded projects come from DST, AICTE RPS, MeitY, DRDO, ISRO RESPOND and the Karnataka State Science and Technology Council. Faculty publish in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier and Scopus-indexed journals with steady year-on-year output. Recent patents include themes around IoT-based agritech sensors, edge AI healthcare devices, energy-efficient VLSI and intelligent transportation. Industry-academia partnerships include Cisco (Networking Academy), IBM, Microsoft, AWS, Bosch, Wipro, Robert Bosch Engineering and select aerospace firms. International MoUs span universities in the US, the UK, Australia, Germany and Singapore for student exchange and joint research.
