PSGCT Coimbatore students benefit from substantial state government scholarship support. SC/ST students receive Central Government Post-matric Scholarship and Tamil Nadu state Adi Dravidar Welfare scholarships. Tamil Nadu state-domicile students stack state schemes — Pudhumai Penn (Tamil Nadu girl students), TANCEM (minorities), TNFDC (fishermen wards) — with substantial coverage. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted on application. The PSG Trust runs additional alumni-funded need-based scholarships including the PSG Founder Memorial Scholarship and Avinashilingam Memorial Scholarships.
