PDA College Kalaburagi drives research across IoT, AI/ML, structural engineering, sustainable energy, water resources engineering and rural development engineering. Centre for IoT and Cyber-Physical Systems, Centre for Water Resources, Centre for Cyber Security. Faculty publish 100-130 SCI/Scopus papers annually. Research grants from DST, AICTE, MEITY, KSCST, plus Karnataka state government grants for North Karnataka regional development totaling INR 6-8 crore. 25+ patents filed. Partnerships: BHEL, BARC, BSNL, Karnataka Water Resources Department, Microsoft Research India, IBM. International collaborations with NTU Singapore, IIT Bombay, IISc Bangalore.
