NMIT runs separate boys and girls hostels close to the Yelahanka campus. First-year students are typically allocated triple-sharing rooms with double and limited single occupancy from the second year by seniority. Annual hostel and mess fees for 2025-26 typically run ₹1,10,000-1,50,000 inclusive of mess, with AC blocks priced higher. Mess service offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian counters with North Indian, South Indian and Continental items on rotation. Wi-Fi, hot-water geysers, gymnasium access, study lounges, washing machines and CCTV-monitored entries are standard. Curfew is typically 9:30-10:00 pm with weekend leave requiring written parent confirmation. Bring your own mattress, two bedsheets, pillow, blanket, padlock, steel mug and bucket. Off-campus PG fallbacks at Yelahanka, Vidyaranyapura and Hebbal are widely available at ₹8,000-14,000 per month with food.
