NIT Manipur campus spans 70 acres in Langol, Imphal West district — 8 km from Imphal city central. Academic blocks include the Computing Centre (300 high-end workstations), Research Labs, Communication Labs and a dedicated Microsoft Innovation Centre. The institute operates an HPC cluster with 128 cores for AI/ML research. The library houses 60,000 books, 1.8 lakh e-books, 16,000 journal subscriptions through DELNET and access to ACM, IEEE Xplore, Springer and Elsevier digital archives. Sports facilities include a 400-meter athletics track, cricket ground, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton courts, indoor sports hall, and a 1,000-square-meter gymnasium. Healthcare is provided by an in-campus dispensary with full-time MBBS doctor + 24x7 ambulance + tie-up with Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal and JNIMS Imphal. Campus has reliable solar + diesel-backup power, RO water across hostels, and dedicated NKN backbone. The Wi-Fi mesh covers all academic buildings and hostels at 100 Mbps per user. Public transport: Imphal airport (12 km), Imphal railway station (35 km — operational from 2024). Cultural and sports clubs include Manipuri martial arts (Thang-Ta), traditional dance, mountaineering and trekking.
