Research at MUJ spans AI-ML and Data Science, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Cyber Security, Robotics, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, Industrial IoT, Biotechnology and Civil Infrastructure. The campus hosts the Centre for Innovation, Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems, Centre for Renewable Energy and many discipline-specific centres. The institute files 30+ patents annually with publications in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier and Scopus venues. Major funding from DST, AICTE, MeitY, DBT, DRDO, ISRO RESPOND, Rajasthan State Council and several international agencies. Industry partnerships span Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Robert Bosch, Texas Instruments, Tata Group, Reliance, Cisco and many deep-tech startups. International collaborations span universities in the US, UK, Germany, Australia, Singapore and Japan supporting student exchange and joint research alongside MIT Manipal broader research network.
