Karnataka domicile students at DBIT can avail Post-matric SC/ST scholarships, Vidyasiri (OBC, Category-I), EBC scholarship and Karnataka E-Pass tuition support. Defence wards qualify for PM Scholarship Scheme and Sainik Welfare Board concessions. Sports admits at state, national or international level receive separate fee waivers. Institutional scholarships from the Salesian Society of Don Bosco cover top KCET and COMEDK rankers, with substantial need-based and minority-community scholarships reviewed each semester. AICTE Pragati for girl students and AICTE Saksham for differently-abled students are accepted on application. Corporate scholarships from Aditya Birla, Reliance Foundation, KC Mahindra and Tata Trusts can be applied externally. Education loan tie-ups with SBI, Canara Bank and HDFC Credila are facilitated by the financial-aid cell.
