Research at Atria Institute of Technology 2026

Research at Atria spans AI-ML and Data Science, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Cyber Security, Robotics, Power Electronics, Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, Industrial IoT, Mechatronics and Civil Infrastructure. Funded projects come from DST, AICTE RPS, MeitY, DRDO and the Karnataka State Science and Technology Council. Faculty publish in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier and Scopus-indexed journals with steady year-on-year output. Recent patents include themes around energy-efficient VLSI, edge AI for healthcare, agritech sensors, biotechnology applications and intelligent transportation. Industry-academia partnerships include Cisco (Networking Academy), IBM, Microsoft, AWS, Bosch and Robert Bosch Engineering. The institute participates in the Atal Innovation Mission and Atal Tinkering Lab ecosystem. Several student projects publish in Scopus-indexed venues each year through faculty mentorship at the Atria Research and Innovation Centre.
